Wiltshire Brick & Flint Fire Pit

As part of a recent larger landscaping project in the village of Martin, Nr Salisbury, we have constructed a fire pit using local materials.  The Green Oak sleeper surround came from a local sawmill and the flint was un-knapped chalk field flint.  The bricks are from Micklemersh, who also specialy made the radius coping bricks to fit our exact dimensions.  ‘Baz’ the Blacksmith from Alderbury made the removable grate.  We have seeded a wild-flower meadow with winding turfed paths all around.  Watch this space for photos when it is in flower!
