Natural Stone Patio Make-over

The garden of this Durrington Bungalow was ready for modernisation.  We remove the old paths, patio and vegetation before starting from scratch with installing new drainage, paving sub-base and beautiful natural Indian Stone paving, a new lawn and timber arch was installed to complete the project.  In phase 2 we installed a new Block Paved driveway.

Oak wall with Sleepers & Steel

Oak sleepers are ideal for terracing or retaining in the garden.  Our preferred method of installing sleeper walls is erect the wall using steel channel which is securely concreted into the ground.  When the sleepers reach the end of their life they can easily be replaced by sliding them out and replacing them.  We constructed this sleeper retaining wall as part of a large new lawn we were installing at a large garden on the South Coast.

A garden for entertaining

This South Wiltshire garden was in need of a makeover and our client wanted to incorporate a covered area for entertaining.  Our team cleared the site, created a bespoke built garden room with patio, oak raised beds, new lawn and new fence.  It is surprising what we can achieve in a small space to create an extension of the home.

Block Paved Driveway

Following comprehensive garden landscaping work carried out on this Durrington project, our client asked us to create and attractive area for extra parking space. We chose Tegula Block Paving as a contrast to the natural stone paving which we had used in the landscaping. We excavated the site and created a new compacted MOT Type 1 sub base, suitable for taking the weight of a car, before laying the block paving on a sand and cement screed. Kiln dried sand was brushed in to the joints to complete the project.
